Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) is a software system for monitoring and controlling automated processes. SCADA is installed onto a computer which makes it possible to sit in an office and monitor or control processes. With SCADA it is possible to see live time measurements from sensors, machine status or see error messages/alarms. It is also possible to store the data for later analysis or logging.
